This year's workshop will be held at the GlaxoSmithKline compound in Stevenage, UK, from Sunday April 14th until Wednesday April 17th.

On behalf of EMTRAIN's Work Package 6, we are pleased to inform you that we have now started to collect applications from public-private partnership (PPP) PhD students to attend the EMTRAIN PhD Workshop 2013, which will be held in Stevenage, hosted by GSK, from 14 to 17 April 2013

The EMTRAIN workshop is a forum for PhD students enrolled in a public-private partnership to share experience, to network and grow into their role as industry-aware scientist. The students that attend the workshop will be invited to a network of young scientists that in the future will build the bridges between industry and academia.

We will have an exciting, highly interactive programme, which will bring up questions concerning the future of drug discovery and distribution (the programme is still subject to some changes).

Bursaries are limited to students who don't receive financial support for travel costs by their companies or organisations. The workshop, any material and meals are free of charge.

Students should send their applications by using the application form to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., possibly by 28 February 2013.
