EMTRAIN was thanked by the reviewer panel for all the hard work and for the achievements to date. Many developments are already beyond initial expectations.

It's always valuable to have the project reviewed by fresh pairs of eyes. The interim review on April 25th provided that insight. The three reviewers: Prof Christian Noe, Dr Malcolm Barrat-Johnson and Kirsten Steinhausen read the project proposal and the two annual reports, and we then had 5 hours to present the updates and discuss various aspects of the project.

In summary the review was useful in confirming the direction of the project and indicating areas where better communications are required. The official report will be available in a few weeks and will be shared with all partners. It will include suggestions and comments for project extensions.
